Celebrating Creativity, Culture, and Commerce
The Entrepreneurship Development Centre (EDC) of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) proudly presents the Innofest & Heritage Expo 2025 — a one-day campus festival designed to celebrate creativity, culture, and commerce. The event is a vibrant fusion of innovation and tradition, showcasing the incredible talents, ideas, and entrepreneurial spirit of NSUK students and the broader community.
Held at the EDC complex, the festival brought together innovators, artisans, creatives, and business owners for an unforgettable experience that highlighted the power of youth-driven innovation. The day featured student innovation showcases, cultural displays (including horse rides), a lively SME and vendor marketplace, food and household fairs, a stunning fashion runway, and exciting drone and media coverage — all contributing to an atmosphere of creativity, learning, and collaboration.
🎉 A Celebration of Innovation and Heritage
Innofest 2025 wasn’t just an event — it was a movement that reflected NSUK’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and innovation through culture. From groundbreaking student projects to rich cultural exhibitions, the event served as a platform for young innovators to demonstrate how creativity can drive social and economic transformation. Visitors were treated to diverse exhibitions, product launches, and artistic performances that embodied the theme “Celebrating Creativity, Culture, and Commerce.”
The expo also provided valuable networking opportunities for students, startups, and industry leaders. Vendors displayed locally made products and services, while fashion designers and artisans showcased their creative works inspired by Nigeria’s diverse heritage. It was a day that perfectly blended tradition with technology — proving that the future truly belongs to those who dare to innovate.
🙏 Appreciation and Acknowledgment
The success of Innofest & Heritage Expo 2025 would not have been possible without the exceptional leadership of the EDC Management Team, ably led by the Director, Prof. Rashidah Funke Olarewaju, whose vision continues to inspire a culture of innovation and excellence. Deep appreciation also goes to the University Management for its steadfast support, the distinguished judges from academia and industry who assessed student projects with professionalism, and all our sponsors and vendors who made the event a resounding success.
Special thanks also go to all facilitators and ad-hoc staff of the Entrepreneurship Development Centre for their tireless efforts, teamwork, and commitment before, during, and after the event. Their dedication ensured that every detail of the festival — from setup to execution — reflected the EDC’s spirit of excellence and innovation.
Together, we have shown that the future is being built right here at NSUK — through creativity, culture, and collaboration. 🚀
