Another milestone achievement for the Entrepreneurship Development Centre (EDC), Nasarawa State University, Keffi, as our rice farm project reaches a new and exciting stage; the harvesting phase!
Under the blazing sun and guided by dedication, our hardworking team rolled up their sleeves to manually separate rice grains from their stalks a process that symbolizes perseverance, teamwork, and the spirit of enterprise. This stage marks the culmination of months of hard work, from planting and nurturing to the moment of reaping the fruits of our labor.
Each grain harvested is more than just food it represents the Centre’s commitment to agricultural innovation, youth empowerment, and sustainable entrepreneurship. The EDC NSUK Rice Farm stands as a living classroom, where practical learning meets productivity, equipping students and community members with vital agribusiness skills that foster self-reliance and food security.
The next phase will involve processing, packaging, and preparing the rice for market ensuring that every stage of production reflects quality, creativity, and sustainability.
