Dr. Ibrahim Ahmed Abdullahi is a Nigerian academic and seasoned scholar in Business Administration, currently serving in the Department of Business Administration at Nasarawa State University, Keffi. Born on 4th April 1977 in Nasarawa, he is married with children and hails from Nasarawa Local Government Area of Nasarawa State. He holds a PhD in Business Administration from Nasarawa State University, Keffi (2019), an MSc in Management from Bayero University, Kano (2015), a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from Usman Danfodio University, Sokoto (2009), and a BSc in Business Administration from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (2004). His academic journey began with foundational education in Keffi and Nasarawa, reflecting a strong and consistent educational background.
Dr. Ibrahim has extensive teaching and administrative experience spanning both university and polytechnic systems. He began his academic career at the Federal Polytechnic, Kaura Namoda, Zamfara State (2007–2015), where he rose through the ranks from Assistant Lecturer to Lecturer II and contributed to various committees. He later joined Nasarawa State University, Keffi in 2015, where he progressed from Lecturer II to Associate Professor in 2024. Over the years, he has held several key leadership roles, including serving as Head of Department from 2023 to February 2026, in addition to roles such as Departmental Examination Officer, Postgraduate Registration Officer, Secretary of the Postgraduate Defence Committee, and coordinator of both PGDM and MSc programmes.
An accomplished researcher, Dr. Ibrahim has an extensive record of scholarly publications in reputable national and international journals, covering diverse areas such as financial performance, corporate governance, entrepreneurship, risk management, and organizational behavior. His research contributions also extend to conference proceedings and international academic engagements, where he has presented papers on topics including digital transformation, banking stability, sustainable economic practices, and SME development. He has attended and participated in numerous conferences across Nigeria and internationally, demonstrating a strong commitment to academic excellence and knowledge dissemination.
Beyond research and teaching, Dr. Ibrahim has supervised a large number of postgraduate students at both MSc and PhD levels, guiding research in areas such as digital marketing, procurement management, corporate governance, and human resource practices. He has also served as an external examiner for postgraduate theses and dissertations, further contributing to academic quality assurance. Professionally, he is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management and other recognized bodies, with specializations in Quantitative Management, Financial Management, and Operations/Production Management. His career reflects a blend of academic leadership, research productivity, and dedication to the advancement of business and management studies.
